Induction - Second time faster?

Question

I was induced with my first, 2 yrs ago and labored for almost 48 hrs from pitocin to delivery. I am being induced tomorrow with my second due to gestational diabetes. I'm wondering if any of you have been induced twice and was your second shorter than the first!?

I have been induced twice and the second time definitely went faster. First they started at 9am, he was born at 11pm. Second they started at 9am and he was born at 4:30pm. Number 3 is due in 4 weeks and I have a feeling I'll be induced again and I'm sure it will go even faster! Good luck!

Induced with my first had him 5 hours later. Induced with my second was in labor fpr 4 days

Induced with my first 2. Both labors were 4 hours start finish.  Give or take a few minutes.

All I have to say is, you deserve a medal for labouring on pitocin for 48 hrs!!!😱 Even if you had all the drugs in the world! I was on pitocin for 14hrs, had gas & air, pethidine and an epidural (the top up did not work)...and it was HORRIBLE!!! I have no idea how you did it!

Haven't had my second yet, but talked to my doc about it and she said it will definitely be faster! My mother is an RN and said it will be faster too... good luck!!!!!!!!

Following... I was induced with my first too 5yrs ago due to high blood pressure last 18.5hrs labor. Now getting induced 12/1 if baby doesn't come sooner due to size showing on ultrasound and wanting to have natural no c-section. I was curious of this as well!
