C-Section of Natural Birth?

I am in a dilemma at the moment and I was hoping I can get some advice. I have 2 kids. Both with emergency C-Section. This time docs told me I have a choice to have a c-section or try natural. But she also said because I had 2 c-sections already it's most likely that this one would be a c-section too. Specially as my last one I wasn't dilating and there was a lot of pressure on my wound.

At the moment I told dr that I would like to try for natural birth but now I am in 2 minds. I don't want to be in labour for 2 days again and then end up with and emergency c-section. I'm thinking whether i should opt for a c-section in the first place? What do you guys think?

I have a similar dilemma. I'm trying for natural just because I've heard the healing is much easier. My csection was horrible in terms of the time it took me to heal. I don't know what your experience was previously but if it was alright then maybe a csection would be easier. I'd rather try labor again then redo my experience. Good luck to you

If you were able to cope with the c section recovery then I'd go with the section, but if the section was miserable for you then it might be worth a shot if your dr is willing to babysit you during labor. I had 2 vaginal births and 1 c section and my Dr told me if I decide for a vbac next time the surgeon has to sit with me the entire labor in case of uterine rupture.

Personally I would do the c-section. If you tried natural last time and it didn't work, I think it could be dangerous on your twice-operated on uterus to try a third time. However, I'm not a doctor.

I would ask your dr if they were you what would they do.  I'm not a dr but if you'd had two in the past and have had complications maybe you should just go th safer route and have a c section.  I know it is surgery and I'm sure not pleasant.
