clomid and migraines

I've been directed by nearly every specialist not to take birth control containing estrogen, reduce all soy intake, and not to smoke. I have had migraines since I was 21 (I'm 35 now) with aura and without, and with stroke like symptoms. I'm heading to the fertility dr in the next two months (as soon as my insurance approves and I can schedule the appt). Clomid seems to be the first line in treatment, but I'm really worried about how it will effect my body. Anyone else experience migraines and take clomid? Or anyone been told to take something else? I want to have as much info as possible.
