Too many ultrasounds?

Is it bad? I have one at 6w4d then 7w4d and have one on Tuesday coming up 8w4day?

I've had ultrasounds at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 18 and 23 weeks so far.
Not sure if I'll be having any more but baby appears to be perfectly healthy (currently 31 weeks)

I'm just curious as to why you'd have so many so early on? Are they concerned that you have an empty sack?

They usually do that when there is symptoms of something being wron with the baby or maybe even if you're spotting. I have one every time I go in because my placenta is covering my cervix. But they'll have one every week or even every two weeks if something odd is happening.

I was high risk & had ultrasounds at 5w, 6w, 7w, 8w, 12w, 16w, 20w so far (currently 26w2d & baby is doing awesome). It's not unusual for high risk pregnancies. Obviously your dr wouldn't be recommending the extra ultrasounds unless the benefits outweighed the risks given your situation.

It's controversial wether it's safe to get more than the standard two (in the United States at least) they say you should get more done if it's medically necessary, and in your situation it sounds like it is! I wouldn't worry :)
