cramping on the pill?

In my third week I have been cramping and spotting today. is this normal? or could this be a side effect because I missed my lasts months last active pill?

My pill is supposed to stop me from ovulating. I think I may have ovulated today though because the pain was just like ovulating and according to my cycle I just checked now and I should have if I wasn't on the pill. My cramps on the pill start about 1 week before period.

Totally normal. I have been on the pill for four years and get ovulation cramps halfway through. Also cramps early. About a week before my period starts. As far as spotting, never had it. But I've heard it's a normal symptom. I'd talk to your doctor anyway.

Sounds normal. I started the seasonal pill about a month ago and was having the same problem. And with this pill you only get a period every three months so I knew it was not menstrual cramps.
