I'm breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter, and I have recently adopted my 2 month old nephew. He was neglected an abused and when me and my husband got the call, he was in the hospital for over 30 broke bones or fractures. They finally let him leave the hospital (a little early because I'm a trained nurse) and I was lying in bed thinking about how many benefits my breastmilk has provided for my daughter, and he never had that opportunity. My husband thinks it would be weird for me to breastfeed him because he isn't mine, but honestly I feel it would help us bond better in the long run anyway. I'm not really worried about what anyone thinks, but would you be weirded out if you saw someone breastfeeding a child that wasn't yours?
