4 month sleep regression! If he is able to calm down briefly he is okay (try gently bouncing him up and down while he is in your arms to mimic the movement of being in the womb. If he is screaming and can't calm down, it's colic and you need to talk to your ped.

Most babies have a "witching hour" where they fuss and cry nonstop for no reason for a few hours. It lasts a few months and stops abruptly.
