So the night be fore I started labor I was up really late hanging out with my husband watching a movie. The next morning I got up super early with him like 4 I'm the morning to get him off to work. I had some cramping and went to the bathroom. I noticed some of my mucus plug and thought hmm this is it. I went back to sleep with mild cramps. When I woke up the cramps kept persisting through the day. I chated with my mom and sister in between contractions. I told my husband he might have to come home early from work. hAH I was so wrong. I went into the hospital around 6 or so and was only dialated to a two when they checked me so they sent me home. I went out to eat while having contractions. I'm pretty sure the waiter thought I was crazy. I went back home to wait out until the contractions were more intense . I tried taking a warm bath but that made it worse. I just walked around breathing deeply. Finally I was like just take me in babe these are bad. I think that was around midnight. I was 5 1/2 centimeters then. So I just continued to walk around the halls with my husband and peeking at my mom and sister in the waiting room to say high. I just kept reminding my self that it would get worse before it got better.  I think around 5 am I was so tired I got a shot of Demerol so I could get some sleep before pushing. That stuff made me feel so weird XD any ways I ended up being stuck at 7 centimeters for the longest time even though I was walking around and everything. They decided to break my water and the pain got a lot more intense. I really couldn't walk much after that. My cervix started to swell and they were afraid baby wouldn't fit through if it kept swelling. At 35 hours  in I got an epidural so my cervix wouldn't swell anymore. They started me on petocin and stretched my cervix. Baby boy was turned the wrong way and not wanting to come out! Finally it was time to push. I pushed for about and hour and he was out! So awesome! I had some tearing and needed a few stitches. Leon was 9 pounds 2 ounces. My labor was 38 hours start to finish and this time around I hope to go all natural :)
