You are still at risk of hemorraging and also infections. Just wait, or do things other than penetravtive sex.

No no sex or anything in the vagina for 6 weeks the drs and nurses do not tell you this for their health its for yours you are extremely fertile the first few weeks after birth as well as your body is an open wound it needs to heal you are risking infections that can be deadly

Its only a few weeks im sure you can handle it there are other ways to be intimate other than sex

I had stopped bleeding pretty soon after labor. Maybe 3 weeks? And at 5 weeks and like 5 days after labor I had sex with my husband -- then boyfriend-- and nothing happened but I was SUPER LOSE and it was embarrassing and my friends were really upset that I didn't wait. I also never went to the dr after for my check up because I had placed my first son for adoption and was just too upset to do anything involving it. I had 3 stitches and my next period I bled like I was stabbed but I've been fine ever since. You know your body.
