Moms to go into labor earlier than 40 weeks??? Just curious!!

I went into active labor at 36 weeks and however many days, and had my baby at 37 weeks exactly. My OB predicted I would have baby at 38-39 weeks based solely on how uncomfortable i was through pregnancy, how many times I went to l&d, early dilation, and I had to have shots to stop preterm labor at 32 weeks. She was born 3 weeks early and spent two hours in the NICU then had some issues with elevated bilirubin levels/jaundice, but she is now almost a month old and as healthy as can be

Millions of things... everyone is different. Usually baby comes when baby is ready

A woman's body just does it...there may not be a trigger.  I've looked at some of the responses and those suggestions can start labor as well.

Anything and everything. ..there not one cause..
Stress, water breaking,  falling Down,  smoking, doing drugs, drinking,  not enough water,  baby in distress...way to many causes. .
