can baby stop growing and still have a heartbeat?

Hi everyone! I had a miscarriage back in august and by the grace of god got pregnant again in September. Naturally I'm a worried mess all the time still. I'm 15 weeks pregnant today and I even bought a home Doppler to ease my mind in between dr appointments. My question is, is it possible for the baby to stop growing and still hear a heartbeat???

I am not sure if it's me that is misunderstanding your question or the others. Are you worried that even if you hear the baby's heart beat with your home Doppler that he or she may have stopped growing? I'm sure there is a slim possibility of that happening due to some sort of defect, but I would imagine as long as you are hearing a heartbeat you can take that as reassurance everything is ok. Your doctor will take measurements at your ultrasounds to make sure the baby is growing and developing on track. Try not to worry too much! It's easier said than done, I know. I had two miscarriages before this pregnancy (I'm 32 weeks now). It's kind of out of your hands, so just take it day by day and think positive!

Well technically they could be slow growing also known as IUGR but that is a complication that is only visible during ultrasounds and not this early .  If you have a good healthy heartbeat @ 15 weeks 120-160 with normal fluctuations then baby is thriving.  I know it's hard to have a rainbow baby especially when you're not feeling them move every day.  A happy and healthy rest of pregnancy to you

If you don't hear a heart beat I recommend u go 2 the emergency asap.....2 ease your mind.....good luck
