8 days old and not pooping!?

My baby is formula fed and she's not pooped for 24 hours. She's peed alot but she's not pooped. I have no idea what to do and I'm super worried. Please help me

Yes it is fine. Breastfed babies tend to be constipated more (what I'm going through), As long as they're eating and peeing and nothing else seems out of the ordinary then it's fine, But always share that (no pooping) with pediatrician.

Its fine , when i first started my LO with formula she would only poop 1 time in 24 hours , now shes pooping twice in 24 hours. Its completly normal

I freaked out when my son (at 1.5wk old) went nearly 32 hours without pooping. It was the weekend and the after hours clinic closed, and our closest decent hospital is an hour away. So I'm calling my mother, sister, MIL, best friends and asking them what to do... they all encourage me to be patient and to get his legs moving (you press them up towards his belly, bent, back and forth).
He ended up pooping around 37 hours.
Formula fed babies poop a lot less than BF. Don't panic, wait it out, try the leg excercises. Tomorrow call the doctor and have him give you a time frame of when to bring baby in if he still hasn't pooped.

My baby's formula fed as well, and I was told by my doctor that formula fed babies can go 3 days without pooping. But as long as they don't go 5 days without pooping you are fine.

From my experience that's not uncommon. Talk to your doctor to be safe because sometimes a switch in the type of formula will be easier for your little one to digest( I had to do that with my nephew and it fixed his constipation issues). Breastfed babies are rarely constipated, when they go a while without pooping it's because they body digests the milk so easily and every bit of nutrients is absorbed by the body. That being said I'm not saying one is better than the other for all the sensitive people out there lol just trying to shed light on the different reasons why babies don't poop lol
