Long distance relationships? How do you feel about them?

Ive been with my boyfriend for 5months now i just recently seen him around the time of my birthday he plans on moving out here in february we are now engaged once we get settled we will start making marriage plans. so to me anything is possible you both just have to put in effort and motivate eachother❤

I met my husband at 16 via social media. Looking back as a mommy to be, I'd lose my mind if my child did this but none the less, we were great friends/pen pals if that's a good label for it. We talked on and on for years, went our separate ways for a little while and ended up reconnecting later. We finally met, spent time together and here we are now, at 22 we got married and have a baby boy on the way. I'd say the best thing you can do is to be open but ALWAYS BE SAFE. Not everything works out how we think it will at 16 and you shouldn't ever put your life on hold so early for something so questionable.

My daughters father is from Canada and I'm from the states. We were together for a year and a half and personally I say it isn't worth it. At least not the ones where you meet online first. I don't think you can get a real sense of the person. Whenever we had visits for 2 weeks everything was great but then when we lived together for 6 months it was TERRIBLE. We found out we did not get along at all. 95% of our relationship was the honey moon phase and we were horrible for each other when things got real.  I don't regret it at all because I have my beautiful daughter but I won't be entering one again. That's just my experience though! Everyone is different

Not a fan. I was in a 6 month relationship with my ex (he lives in Louisiana and I'm all the way up in Canada) and it sucked. He didn't want to visit, our communication was just text and skype. I don't recommend it to anyone. It makes me glad I have a local boyfriend.

I'm an army wive, I didn't see my husband for 7 months and 2 months we could only communicate by sending letters so yes, I believe in them if you truly love the person and want to be with them.  They are hard but worth it.

I'm currently in one right now .. but I've seen my lover multiple times and we had sex 3 times I see him on weekends don't know what to call it. But, if you two are really committed than why not ?

If it was my fiancé and I, yes I would. Because I know we could make it through anything and everything. I know I wouldn't have any doubts, etc. 
But if it had been any of my exes, I probably would've just dropped the relationships. So, no. 
I think it depends on the relationship stability and how much the 2 care about each other.

Been there done that and its super hard. Mine didn't last so I'm not a fan of long distance .
