If the pain is so excruciating that moving, walking, standing up, doing really anything is a challenge it's not normal. It's most likely endometriosis.

Endometriosis has these additional symptoms:
Painful cramps
Painful static electricity type feeling contractions
Heavy flow
Irregular cycle
Passing many clots (the dark jelly like stuff)
Nausea or vomiting 
Diarrhoea and pain around the anus/rectum 
Feverish or hot flashes
Pain in areas not the uterus, such as leg, thigh, back, and stomach pains
Pain with urination
Frequent urination or incontinence
Iron deficiency or anemia
Dizzinessness or fatigue
Pain during sex (should feel like a hitting a wall feeling, but too shallow to be hitting the cervix)
Low immune system
Medication does fuck all to help

If you experience any of the symptoms above then it's not normal period cramps. I know because I've had all these and doctors told me it was normal until i saw a specialist who immediately diagnosed me with endo and booked the laparoscopy the following week. Haven't had any of these symptoms including painful cramps, nothing since then.

I get really really bad lower abdominal cramps. It feels like my insides are being ripped out and I'm completely useless the day before my period and the first day of it. All I can do is lay on the floor in the fetal position 😢

Back and front pain. Sore breasts. I get slot of ovary pain until my actual period arrives. Nothing to bad just annoying.
