How affectionate is your significant other? Is it normal not to be?

What are you thinking ladies? How does your SO treat you? & do you think it's normal? Mine... he's really only affectionate when we're alone.. he claims he "doesn't want to be up my ass all of the time". I'm a little hurt by this. He lets it be known we're together to everyone.. just doesn't seem like he cares at times. Might be my hormones, my period makes me a crazy bitch. 🙄 I hate it. So much.

We used to be all 9ver each other. We've been us for over 17 years. We've gotten past the "I need to grab your @$$ in public" part of our relationship.

I'm actually the less affectionate one. He'd be all over me if I let him but I can only handle so much before I need my space! Doesn't mean I love him any less.
