hospital or no..

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I have been having contractions since Thursday evening on and off.. some put me into tears and some a bare-able but I had one lastnight that hurt so bad that I couldn't move from the spot I was in and I was balling my eyes out.. my mom had to slowly help me up and rub my belly so it to go away. Then when I was getting into the shower lastnight it happened again.. I haven't had one since lastnight but I know it's going to start soon again.. wondering if I should go to the hospital or not the next time it happens.. I've never had Braxton hicks contractions but I know what real ones feel like and these feel like real ones..
