Im trying to figure out if moms and daughters start their periods around the same age as eachother.

I started mine at 14 and a half. My daughter just turned 10yrs old last month.

This past summer I noticed her nipples are getting hard, which means her breasts will probably grow soon. Im thinking this means her period is soon to follow.

Im just afraid she might get her period too soon, since it seems earlier is the trend nowadays. Im just stressed out about it because she has ADHD, and a learning delay. I dont think she's ready to handle it or take care of herself properly.

They did have one class on body changes this year in school, but Idk if it was enough.

I would love to hear any of your experiences with your daughters periods.
