Took a nap from 4-5pm. Got up out of bed to feel a gush of fluid which soaked my panties and ran down my legs. I called OB at my hospital to see if they thought I needed to come in. Started having contractions, so I hurried and packed a bag and my husband drove us to the hospital. The L&D nurse did AmniSure to test for amniotic fluid. It came back negative. She checked my cervix for dilation, but said she "couldn't feel my cervix since it was so high." She chalked it up to "not being dilated." According to the monitor I was hooked up to, my contractions are every 7 minutes and my baby's HR is dropping from 160s to 110s every time I have one. They said it's not enough to keep me and discharged me at 9:00. I'm home now resting with an appointment with my OB on Wednesday to confirm a C-section on December 9th! 😳
