I did get pregnant once using the pull out method, I had a miscarriage and my doctor recommended I go on using either condoms or withdrawal (I have health issues that make the pill a bad idea for me). Would have recommended the pill otherwise. If you don't want to get pregnant and don't want to mess with condoms, get on the pill.
