Finally it was my turn

Woke up at 7am in the worst pain ever. Had a few contractions before getting in the tub. They stopped for 10 min and I figured " okay today isn't my day" but then kicked up full force. Had 4 that were 5 min apart, lasting between one minuet, or a min. And a half. So I called my husband and he came home.

Got to the hospital little less than an hour later and they monitored me for an hour. Checked and I was at a 4 so I was staying! Doctor broke my water, and I got in the tub. Bad idea. After she broke my water it was so intense I was almost screaming. So the epidural man came and gave me the most amazing dose of meds ever ♡ Not a drop of shame at all. He gave me a booster first that helped almost instantly.

Turns out the reason I was in so much pain was I went from 5cm to 8cm in less than an hour. I was transitioning mid-epidural. Husband Had to hold me hard to keep me still.

Hit 10cm by 4, pushed from 5 until 5:48 ND put came my 7 pound, 5oz baby girl. Two very small tears so have like 3 stitches but nothing major. She eats like a champ and is already in love with her daddy ♡
