I was told some spotting is normal after one. I have never had any bleeding after a cervical check. However maybe you should phone the doc to just be sure the amount of spotting is okay.

It's normal, I even used to spot after sex near the end with my first. If it gets heavier, go back to the doctor but pink spotting like that is pretty normal.

My doctor always told me bleeding is normal after a cervix check because they are manipulating it to see how dilated you are. Unless it gets heavier or continues for more than a few hours is the only time I'd be concerned

And this is why I don't understand cervix checks before 40 weeks or even if not in labour when they're totally unnecessary and just irritate/aggravate the cervix. But yeah, totally normal to bleed after one.

My doctor said bleeding was normal after anything irritating your cervix. I haven't bled from a check yet, but if you are worried you can always call your OB office and ask how much is normal. It might give you some reassurance.
