Will ovarian cysts in pregnancy make you spot/cramp?

It is slightly dark red, but also mostly brown spotting, only tinted on toilet paper a few times over the past week and a half. No blood enough to cover a pad and i only noticed it when I checked when cramping. Cervix is closed. Not bright red at all. I know I have a cyst or two though and not sure if there is any correlation.
