When to take pregnancy test

Question

Hi, I'm planning to get pregnant. I've had unprotected sex during my ovulation period. My period is due in next 5 days. When is it correct to have a pregnancy test? And I've Clearblue pregnancy test kit with me. Can I rely on the results of this kit? Just wanted to know if they're good accurate.

In my opinion, I would wait until you're late on your upcoming period

I personally don't test unless I have a reason to. IE: late period, 18 days of high temps on my BBT chart, etc. I don't like wasting money on tests and experiencing the disappointment of a negative result.
But many women start testing around 8-10 DPO. Good luck to you!! xo
