Pregnant in college? When to go back?

I just found out my miracle is on its way! I'm due in July but return to college at the very end of September. This will be my first so I'm not exactly sure what to do. Would you be comfortable returning to college and hiring a babysitter for your 2 month old? I only attend school for a max of 6 hours a day btw. Any input would be nice! I know ultimately it's my decision but I would like some reassurance or advice!

In my opinion, it's best to get it done and out of the way. I'm in Grad school. Gave birth this past June just 4 days before my final exam for the term and still made it to class for the final and did great! You can do it. It's tough, yes. But the longer you drag it out, the harder it will become to stay committed and finish. Just keep reminding yourself that college is the key to a better future for your little family. Perhaps the baby's dad or a grandparent can watch him/her while you're in class? I personally wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my baby with just any sitter but if you trust the person, it can work. Just ensure that you have peace of mind that your baby is safe so that you can focus on doing your best in school while you're there. Good luck!

I had a friend who was pregnant in college, went into labor on a Friday and was back in classes that Monday. If she can do that then you can totally finish! Just make it a priority and just remember that it's not just for you anymore, it's for that precious baby too. :)

I'm working on my PhD and I'm also due in July! Because of my funding there's no way I can take time off next fall, so I'm just going to keep going. I think it's totally doable if you figure out how to manage your time and prioritize things!

I'm going back to school a week after my boy is born (being induced). I'm taking online classes. Even though they're a little more pricey, in the end we don't have to pay for a sitter during the week or deal with the hassle.

You could try online classes, if that's a possibility for you 
I am due in June and I will be doing online classes 
Otherwise, I would just make sure it's someone you're very comfortable with!
