UK mums, first midwife appointment- what to expect?

Hi so I am a first time mum, and have my first midwife appointment tomorrow. I am 8w4d so UK mums what should I expect?

Thanks for all your help ladies, turns out my doctors messed up my appointments and the one I went to this week was to organise my booking appointment. Then whilst I was there they realised that they had booked me a booking appointment but failed to tell me at all, so I missed it as it was last Friday! So we are starting all over again and I am now waiting for a letter to tell me when my new booking appointment will be. Fingers crossed they get sorted this time!

Had my appointment today 8wks 6days, was there for just over an hour. They checked my weight, height bp and urine sample first, then there was lots of bits to go through, I had my bloods done straight after and booked my 12wk scan 😊 "happy pregnancy"

Loads of questions. Family history questions. Personal questions. Vaccinations etc. Also you'll get urine sample test done, blood pressure, and also blood taken for tests. You'll also get loads of information aswell.

Hey, I'm also uk! Expect lots of questions about you and partner, family history health etc! Also, blood tests, blood pressure and urine samples! Had mine last week and I was there for just over an hour! X

I'm 9 and a half weeks and still haven't heard from a midwife 😣 I filled the form out for an appointment when I was 6 weeks. Getting impatient now! Xx
