Traditional big high chair vs high chair on kitchen chair???

Question

I am wondering if the regular big high chair with wheels vs the high chair that sits on kitchen chair. Which one is better and more efficient? This is my first baby so any advice would be great! Thank you!

If you have extra chairs, then I highly recommend the kind that just straps on. They are much easier to clean & you can put it in the trunk if you travel :) Much cheaper as well!

For my first, I got one of the high chairs that can go on a regular chair, but it had like 10 different recline levels.... so we could use it while she was tiny cuz we could lean it back and bottle feed. We loved it! My exs aunt had my LO 90% of the time cuz I was working and going to school both full time and they loved it too! Made it a lot easier for them. I'd recommend one of them, but this time we got a normal high chair cuz it was given to us. I had one on my registry that was a normal chair but converted to a toddler chair with table and we wound up exchanging it for something else since we got a solid wood one. Everything we have is wood so we wanted to keep the wood one more than the convertible one.... I'll prob get it too though in a few months. The weight limit on it was enough that even my 6 year old could use it!!! Haha

I put one on my registry that snaps to my chair. I don't have to worry about finding a spot for it and it converts into a booster seat.

Totally recommend the ones that snaps to your exsisting chairs! We have the fisher price space saver. Soooo much easier than the huge bulky ones in my opinion! It reclines and has 2 height settings.

I would get the small one. We were given one from my MIL that is on its own wheels and it takes up so much room. We never know what to do with it when we're not using it.

I love the one that sits on the kitchen chairs. It's super portable which is especially great around the holidays having to take it to different houses for dinner. We have a fisher price space saver!!

I have both and I use the big one to put my purse and diaper bag on lol. I am about to get rid of it. She likes sitting at the table with us and it takes up less room so the one that goes on my dining chair is better for us.
