Do I use my phone too much?

I had a baby eight weeks ago and I use my phone while he's nursing and when I'm trying to put him to sleep and sometimes I feel like I'm using it too much and not paying attention to my baby as much as I should? I just don't know what else to do.

I think some people need to understand that this a serious question. Because i went through the same thing. When your baby is that young, there's not much you can do with them. I used my phone while I was nursing my daughter, I still do. It's a chance to get in some "me" time because every second of the day, i'm solely focused on her. I felt like I was using my phone too much but I realized that I wasn't. I just had nothing else to do other than watch her, clean, and use my phone.. Don't feel bad, just make sure you're spending time with your baby while they're awake and wanting you. But also don't feel bad for using it if that's your way to "escape" or get in time for yourself.

I feel like this might be a legitimate question. You are using it too much. You should cherish these moments because your baby will grow fast and before your eyes. By the time you know it, they'll be a teen that doesn't want anything to do with you. Your apps and social media friends will always be there.

If you feel like you're using the phone too much, you probably are. Just try to turn it off while you're bonding w baby... if you want to cut back on using it
