Brand of pregnancy test?

Question

So my last period was 12-4-14 
I've been tracking my period for 10 months now & it's never later my next period was suppose to be 1-1-15 but I missed my period completely I'm not sure if I should test or not if so what brand should I use? Me & my husband have been trying he's hoping that this month is it. I hope so to. Any advice I'm all ears thank you

Dollar store tests!!!! Lol  this past monday when I tested, the color was going across the screen and didnt stop on the test line but the control line popped up quick! After a full minute the test lime was suuuuuuper faint! So you would just have to make sure you wait a full minute before checking the results!

I would suggest testing now since you've missed it. I suggest using pink dye tests because pink is not as easy to confuse with white as blue is if the test lines are faint (my lines were super faint so the blue test just caused confusion). I used first response and one that had the word "answer" in the name (sorry I don't remember!). On the box it'll show what the test lines look like so you can see if it's pink or blue. Take those and see what you find. Testing first thing in the morning will give you (most likely) the highest HCG concentration so try testing then if you want to use a digital test cause as mentioned in another comment digital tests are most sensitive so they need more hcg to read positive. I took a digital last cause they're most expensive so once I convinced myself my pink dye tests looked positive (super faint) the next morning I took a digital and it was positive. Good luck! Any brand is good really i heard that non digitals are more reliable because digitals ones are more sensitive to the hcg hormone. But yeah any if fine even the pound shop ones or dollor stores :P
