Hypothyroidism, PCOS and birth control??

This may be super long winded so I'm sorry but thanks for listening I'm 19 and I've been taking medicine for hypothyroidism (and have pcos but if there is something to take for that I'm not taking it) for a few years at this point at a low dose and I've kinda come to a point where I might want to take birth control but am unsure about it (my doctor has recommended it but I've been hesitant to agree with him). I'm sexually active and use condoms mostly. I have some dark hair growth on my chin/neck, inner thighs, and belly button area that's beginning to irritate me. I also have a constant struggle with not terrible acne all over my face but it's still acne so it's irritating. So I guess my question is is there any hormonal birth control that would help get rid of the hair, clear the acne, and just generally get my hormones' shit together. I'm just getting tired of feeling so poorly about my physical appearance that if there's a pill I'll probably take it asap. Thanks again for helping me out, I'm just lost and confused with a not so helpful doctor.
