20 week ultrasound found CPC?

So I went in for my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and we were super excited to find out that we're having a girl!! Then the doctor came in and told us that they found a (very tiny) choroid plexus cyst (CPC) on the baby's brain but that it's common and typically clears up on its own and usually nothing to worry about- but of course this caused so much worry!! They also couldn't get a good look at the baby's heart because of the position she was in and since they found the cyst they want me to have another ultrasound done in two weeks at a specialist instead of my regular office to get a better view. Cue more freaking out because now I have to go see a specialist but not worry?! The CPC can be a soft marker for trisomy 18 but my genetic testing I had previously done all came back negative. They also had me due a harmony blood test which is even more accurate than the previous genetic test. I'm trying really hard to listen to the doctor and not worry and what I did find online also confirmed that CPC is common and usually nothing but I can't help being upset and worried right now. 
Has anyone else had this happen??

Last year with my first baby they found CPC plus his kidneys were dilated I ended up having three anatomy scans done at the specialist and everything cleared up. At birth we noticed his pupils are sometimes unequal the docs said either it is a neuroblastoma or something about 1 in 5 people have. So we have to go to eye doc ever 6 months until he is 5 to rule it out 🙄
My 13 month old is running and climbing on everything and has 10 words. 
They do all this extra stuff nowadays and I feel like it causes a lot of unnecessary worry. I know they just want to be cautious but it can drive a mama nuts.

Before my anatomy scan my OB warned me of a choroid plexus cyst, a bright spot on the heart, and one other thing I can't remember right now as  something that's almost always nothing to worry about.

Definitely common and almost always clears up. Please try to stay calm and just look forward to another ultrasound (more pics yay!) Odds are everything will be perfectly fine, especially since you've already had normal results with the DNA tests.

We had this as well-did the harmony test-was worst week of my life-everything turned out fine. Found a lot of babies have this and turn out to be fine. If your 12 week ultrasound was good then you have less to worry about & if they saw no other signs at 29 week uktrasound. Best of luck & try and keep a little busy & lay in bed and cry (I did both depending on my mood). Hopefully you get test results soon.
