OPK says I ovulated! Could Clomid affect results?
Hi all,
New to the Glow community. I've been taking Clear Blue Digital OPKs since last Sunday. I got negatives Subday thru Tuesday, blinking smiley faces (high) Wednesday thru Saturday, and today I got a steady smiley (peak). I'm thrilled!
I was diagnosed with PCOS in Feb, and finished my first round of Provera/ Clomid on 4/24. I had an ultrasound to measure my follicles last Monday (4/28) on CD 11 and my longest one was a 12. The technician seemed to think it was a bust for this cycle, but based on the opk results I think my lady parts just take their sweet time.
My question is whether the fact that I'd taken Clomid could give me a false positive. The instructions warn that could happen, but I wonder if they meant the tests give false readings on the day you're actually taking the drug. Anyone know?
