Anyone have suggestions for treating baby's congestion?

Not sure if my baby is on her way to experiencing a full on cold, but she does have congestion. No runny nose. As I wait for my doctor to call me back, I'd love to learn any of  your home remedies or products you've used to help clear her up and get her back to breathing normally. Thank you ahead of time!

Run your shower on the hottest setting step inside the bathroom with the baby and close the door. The steam will help bring up some mucous and clear her up a bit ! But don't stay in to long !!!

Humidifier 
MUST HAVE: Fridababy NoseFrida (kinda gross but gets the job done) & Saline Snot Spray
Plenty of fluids.

If all else fails....my pedo ok'd benedryl 1/2ml q4-6h as needed. Only at bedtime for my little one as a last resort. Test first-can cause excitement. She's had three colds- 1 major, 2 minor.  14 months old
