He's divorced and he's 19
My so, like a typical marine (or armed forces men) he thought that he had to marry a girl before going to boot camp. So, today, he "confessed" me that, one: he was married before. Apparently he got married to this girl and when he came home the girl was having sex with another guy. He's still doing the divorce paper work and hopefully he'll be done soon. Two: before this, he had a fiancé at the age of 17 and she was pregnant. She died in a car accident with their baby.
I now understand why he's taking things slowly and he's very anxious and not very open. I'm glad he's starting to be honest with me. He is planning on asking me out next week when we see again but he wanted to make sure I was okay with this. I'm fine with it just because it's not his fault and I would want to be loved if I was in his situation. Also, he didn't marry at church which is fine with me. What would you do if you were me? Would you go out with him?
