TRYING TO PLAN FOR BABY BIRTH MONTH....AM I CRAZY?

Question

Well, we really want to have a baby and I know I shouldn't be picky...bla bla..but for example there are months I don't want to ttc because I don't want my baby to be born on January, June or October for example. Is there anyone else that does that? Does that sound crazy?

It doesn't sound too crazy.. for those saying they don't want to give birth in the winter.. the best part was yoga pants, oversized sweaters and scarfs.. it's the coziest time to be pregnant!!

Oh my gosh you are definitely not disqualified😂 people get so petty on this it's absolutely ridiculous. My pregnancy was unplanned, he's now gonna be born in December and I'm so mad at myself. I have friends who are born in December and they hate having their birthdays so close to holiday:( makes me so sad for my baby but quess we don't get to be to picky. But just know some times Ttc can be difficult and can take longer than expected especially when trying to plan the month the baby is born in! But I hope it all works for you☺️

Babies dont  follow a schedule. 
Maybe you aren't quite ready to ttc just yet.

I think it's one of those things that you can try and control but the best laid plans will not necessarily work out. Just like every other aspect of parenthood, I'd say. 
My advise would be to let go of control a bit :)

You're not crazy I wish I done that because now I'm due during the winter 😢 I'm afraid I will be stuck inside when my water breaks. I live an hour from our nearest hospital. So not a bad idea at all!

No we tried to plan but we ended up pregnant as soon as we were ready. But my Birthday is Jan 6th however I love my Birthday I don't like the fact that it's a few weeks after Christmas....

But there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with aiming for a specific Month to get pregnant. The only thing is there's a possibility that Baby won't exactly come when you want them too. Babies come early and they also come late.

I've always gotten pregnant the first month of trying, so I've planned my kids birthday months. I do regret being impatient though, and having a baby in November. Cold and flu season with a newborn made me extremely anxious. With this pregnancy, I absolutely did not want to have the baby in March, so we cut it a bit close. Good luck to you!

You can plan and try but children will quickly teach you that your plans mean nothing to them. Even if you get pregnant with a due date you like, baby might decide to come early or late. Wouldn't hurt to try but keep an open mind.

You can always try. I tried with both of mine. I don't want a December baby as it's a busy month for us already. I wanted a summer this time and though it's early days I'm due 5 August. I expect I will deliver early and will have a July baby.

I planned it so I wouldn't be taking my college classes yet, so I wouldn't miss any time (hopefully)  😂
