Do you recommend Palmer's stretch mark cream?

I've been using it for almost a month since week 5. I hate the smell of it but I'm worried about having stretch marks so I'm trying to ignore the smell. But I wonder if this cream is really effective in preventing stretch marks. Anyone used it and got stretch marks anyway?

I used it religiously and still managed to get stretch marks from hell. My mom never got stretch marks from my brother and I so I'm guessing I just got the raw end of the stick

Stretch mark cream doesn't help a single bit, kind of a rip off really. Stretch marks are 100% genetic

Studies show that lotion and stretch mark creams don't actually help. Diet and excersize will help though! Stops you from gaining extra baby weight

Are you using this one?? I don't think anything really works but I have this one and it smells amazing!!! I use it right before bed and it makes me feel so relaxed. I'll probably continue to use it even after I have my baby. Lol!

I'm 27w & no stretch marks yet (knock on wood!) but who knows, there's still plenty of time. My mom's are reeeeeeally bad, so I feel like I'm doing well thus far. The main reason I commented though is because I'm mixing Palmers & coconut oil, & the coconut oil smell is definitely what prevails, so you might try that!

I used that with my first one so I figured it actually worked then second pregnancy I used it again but I didn't get as lucky this time around..so maybe anything that has vitamin e might help to some point

I hated the smell too..it'll make me nauseous. Try coconut oil I used that and didn't get any stretch marks at all. I had some on hip bones from losing/gaining weight during high school and they got so light, barely visible now

I already had some stretch marks before I got pregnant so I am not concerned with preventing them. However, Sometimes my stretch marks are painful. I put Palmers stretch mark butter on them then and It seems to lessen the pain a bit. I know there are other brands out there. Maybe there is one with a different scent that you can tolerate better.
