Let me tell yall about yoga. 🙏
Yoga is not about flexibility, yoga is NOT a new fad, and yoga is the BEST practice for you, pregnant or not. 
Yoga is a 5000 yr old + pratice and is full of benefits for you, your unborn baby, and post baby. It is older than ANY medical book out there. There are no CHEMICALS in yoga. There is only you and your mat. 
Yoga is a combination of breath, movement and peace of mind. The Christian monks began yoga as meditation, or some would call prayer. They literally sat, all day, every day to become in touch with the spirit, the mind and the body. They then realized that sitting was not allowing them to live as long as they prospered. That's when they invented the postures, the asanas, the movement, to help circulation of the blood, of the oxygen and of the prana (breath/energy) through the body. 
It is recommended in every SINGLE prenatal article. Along with a healthy diet and a good nights sleep and lots of water. 
It only has benefits, no repercussions (unless you force your body to do something it shouldnt, which in that case you weren't doing yoga instead you were listening to your ego instead of your body, mind, heart and soul) 
Take up prenatal yoga, take up a meditation practice and I guarantee you, you and your baby will ONLY benefit. 
I am a certified yoga instrctor with a BS in Psychology, and I am so thankful for my next 9 months as I know my practice will only benefit my pregnancy and my labor/delivery. And also my peace of mind 😊
Ps- if you ever hear "pelvic floor" it means KEGELS, same diff, you bring those muscles up and in towards the navel, and guess what that's part of yoga and will help with labor and delivery :)
