Help! What the HECK just happened?!?!?!?!?!?

I was just nursing my LO, we got 15 minutes in, and all of a sudden he violently PUKES up everything he just nursed! HE'S NEVER PUKED BEFORE! And he's a happy and healthy baby who rarely ever spits up! (He usually has 40 minute nursing sessions, and would wiggle around if he needed to burp!) It was so sudden and unexpected - there was no warning other than him pausing for a few seconds for "a breather" and then *BLEH!* and it was all over his face and his neck and some of his chest and he drenched his pajamas on his arm and he got me al wet and the boppy and the rocking chair a little wet too - thank god I put the burp cloth where I did because it got drenched and caught a lot of what his pj sleeve didn't.

What could have caused this?!?!?!?! Did he maybe just eat too fast or something? I'm at a loss! This isn't normal! 💔😭
