Beware of at HPTs!!
I see so many women getting discouraged and so many that are unsure of at home pregnancy tests. So I've decided to share my story with you ladies to help ease your minds.
My husband and I decided to have a baby shortly after we married. For three months, I got my period steady. Come the fourth month, nothing. I felt for sure that I was pregnant.
I took my first at home test when I was a couple days late. I cried when it came out negative, but I still had hope. My body just knew I was a vessel now.
My second test I took four days late, again negative. Still very discouraging.
My third and fourth tests were taken on the same day at different times. One in the morning, my first urine, and one at night. Still both were negative.
I then asked my husband to take me to my doctor for a blood test. He happily obliged. After waiting almost two hours for results, I found out what my mind and body were already telling me.
I am in fact pregnant. Six weeks and five days along.
Please don't be discouraged with at home tests. They only work for some people, not everyone.
