Which birthcontrol is the best?

Question

I'm debating on which birthcontrol I should get on.
I'm not a very good pill taker, but I would like to still have my period monthly 
Depo sounds good but, the side effects are scary with the hole acne, heavy bleeding and mood swings
Same with the IUD.

Any advise? Please I really do need it

This is a conversation left best for your gynecologist. Every one on here is going to be biased as far as BC is concerned (I'm for IUD) but what everyone likes might not be what's best for you. Talk to your gynecologist. Then you can decide from there

I have Nexplanon, its a intermuscular(it goes into your arm) implant that releases the same stuff as depo but on a less harsh scale and it has to be replaced every 3 years. With this it has a chance of making your period lighter. All the common side effects of depo are the rare side effects for this. I was on depo for about 4 years and my body responded well but I still had some of the major side effects, but on Nexplanon I have had none. The best thing about this is you can get it removed anytime and a week after you can become pregnant. Unlike depo where you would have to wait for your period to come back, or maybe even longer. If anything go talk to your OBGYN doctor and see what your options are and what they may think which is the best one for you. Hope all of this helps!!!

I have had the shot for nearly four years. Love it! No periods really just a little spotting. No weight gain or acne. Not any more than normal.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to take a pill actually, just set an alarm on your phone. I'd recommend the Pill first, because it's the easiest to stop if you don't like it, while an IUD you have to have removed and the Depo shot you have to wait until it wears off

I use nuva ring and it's pretty awesome. I'm like you where I'm not the best with remembering to take a pill and this thing makes it so much easier. Basically it's a flexible ring you insert and leave in for 3 weeks. On the last week you take it out and have your period. I like this because while I was taking the Depo shot (big no no) I ended up not having my period at all after a while. The nuva ring is super awesome.

I'm on the pill, taking a pill everyday can be a hassle and also has side effects for some women as well. Personally I like it,  I think all forms of birth control have some down fall to them. Do some research and do whatever you feel comfortable with!

Hated depo! was on it for a year I would spot the whole 3rd month til it was time to get another shot. I'm on microgestin 21 pack pill now since aug. no complaints thus far and I still have a period.

I loved the thought of my iud, not having to worry about the pill every day, but unfortunately for me I endlessly bled for 2 and a half months before I gave up and removed it. Other than the bleeding I liked it. Now I just take the pill lol I've stopped bleeding now and I'm much happier just because of that!
