what causes a heart attack in a 17yr old?

My friend, just yesterday passed away from a heart attack. Now I don't know any details so this is very vague and I'm sorry about that. She was a 17yr old female of a healthy weight and I'm wondering what could of caused it? is there any specific causes and she died at such a young age?. Any answers would be much appreciated👼🏻💛

I'm sorry for your loss! Sometimes excessive exercise can cause heart attacks in young people. Or possibly she had a heart condition you didn't know about (maybe she didn't even know).

It could be stress or a congenital heart defect she was born with, it could have seemed rather minor and she just never told you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This happened to my ex too, (he didn't die from it but) he was under extremely high stress at the moment and ended up having a minor heart attack
