37 weeks birth?!!

Approximately how healthy will a baby born if around 37 weeks. Do you think she/he would have to stay in the hospital? Longer than the norm.

Most babies born 37+ weeks are fine if labor starts on its own. I only ever hear of complications when there was an induction or emergency situation.

Depends on weight and how his or her lungs are doing.....my aunt just had her son at 37 weeks weighing 8 lbs and some ounces and got to leave the next day

37 weeks is still considered full and unless there's something else up they should not need any extra medical care as compared to any other baby born at 40+.

37 weeks is full term and perfectly safe. I will likely be induced between 37-39 weeks because of gestational diabetes and am not concerned at all.

My son was perfect, he was born at 37 weeks. We both left at the same time a day after he was born
