Daddys eyes?

My baby boy is 3 weeks old and he has dark blue eyes but they seem to be getting lighter. My husbands eyes are the lightest blue ive ever seen. Do you think babys eyes could lighten up this much or will they be a darker blue? I know no one will actually know but i thought maybe some of you have kids that this has happened for. I absolutely love my husbands blue eyes and our first got my hazel eyes so im hoping this one got his!
