in need of advice

My last two periods or what I think are periods I spotted for three days and then it was a heavy flow then I was off this time I've been experiencing horrible cramps and pains in my sides it hurts to move or even try to get comfortable I'm not sure what it could be at this point my boyfriend thinks implantation cramps but I'm unsure on a scale of pain 1-10 it's about an 8.5 someone please help
