I lived with my now husband 3 days before we got married.( we were dating for a little over a year, moved in together on christmas eve and had to wait for the court house to open back up after the holiday) I highly suggest living with someone before you marry them. You can really learn alot about someone. I wish that we would of lived together longer before we got married. We have been married for almost 11 years now but it wasnt easy for a while and I often wonder if some of it could of been avoided by living together longer first.

It really depends on you and your belief system. Most people suggest living together before marriage if it's acceptable for you because you learn A LOT about a person when living with them, things you might hate and would be deal breakers but also things that could bring you closer together. I lived with my husband for 6 years before we were married (we moved in together after 1 year of dating, mainly because I was moving away for work and if he wanted to follow, we would need to live together). I know of one couple who waited to live together after marriage but it was due to their religious beliefs.
