But here is my dilemma...I work for a very small call center company. And occasionally there are problems with work running out and nothing to do so we either get sent home a lot or they let us go. I recently came back after a month off about 2 months ago. 

Any who my question is I am almost done calling on behalf of accompany that makes a lot of money and it's probably wrong but I wanted to reach out to him. I talk to him everyday anyways and to see if I can work for him directly. I have been with my current employer for over a year and in that year I have felt like it's next to impossible to move up the ladder because it feels like my boss plays favorites and that I am not one of them. I have gotten my annual raise back in august and then around the end of September early October I got a raise. But I am trying to make more money for my family and being here would be really hard to do that.

So is it wrong for me to reach out to the company about any possibilities or should I just keep everything to myself?

Please no harsh comments as I feel bad already and I am trying to do the right thing but also do the right thing for my family
