Just Married, Can't Go to Doctor Yet.

Hey ladies, just need a quick word of advice! I was just married in October and our insurance plan is still in the works. By that I mean i won't be added to my husband's insurance plan until January and can't go to the doctor until they send me my insurance card. My question I guess is, is this okay to wait this long to go to the doctor when I know I'm pregnant? I'm so anxious and worried about everything and over a month of waiting is really going to get to me. And does anybody know how long it takes them to send your insurance card after the new year?
