What age?

Question

At what age did you introduce baby food to your infant? Our daughter will be 4 months in about 10 days. She's been really fussy at bedtime, screaming and crying which is out of the ordinary for her. My wife called her doctor today and they said we can start baby food and rice cereal in her bottle. We did so, to no avail. But, she did enjoy the bananas 🍌 
We originally wanted to wait until 6 months to start baby food but as long as we have the ok from her doctor, I guess we've started now.

Please don't put rice cereal in a bottle! This advice is outdated and dangerous. If you want to give her rice cereal then spoof feed it. Rice cereal in a bottle can cause the baby to aspirated the cereal. Also it has 0 nutritional value so I would just avoid it if possible

Right around that age they hit what's called "a wonder week". Happened with our son. Their little brains are developing a lot and it's stressful on them and you as a parent. We had a sleepless week and then he was back to normal. Try and hold out before trying food so soon. Your little one is just growing!

With my first son, we introduced solids to him at the beginning of 4 months. With my second we are going to wait a while because he's been my "problem child" when it comes to getting sick so I'm just afraid of allergic reactions, and tummy aches and such. We did however start giving him a tiny bit of cereal in his bottle every now and then to slow down the flow of the milk when he's drinking because he drinks super fast sometimes and chokes. Each kid is different, you'll know what's best for your child.

Our daughter will be 4mths in 10 days too!!  We havent started with the baby food still waiting on her Dr. visit to make sure its ok.
