What size are you ladies buying for the baby's first outfit?

I always buy 0-3 months just because you never know how big your baby will actually be 😊

I believe preemie goes up to 7 lbs so I would only get that size if it's likely that your baby will be under 7lbs. Otherwise I think newborn and 0-3 both start at 7-8 pounds which is a pretty standard size for a newborn.

I don't have any newborn sized clothes!! I have all 0-3 options for bringing our little one home.... I might need to reconsider! I forget how small babies are.

I have two completely different outfits. One is newborn and one 0-3. They are both washed and in the bag (the only baby clothes I have washed so far)

I buy 0-3 bc my babies are usually st least 8 lbs, and newborn only goes up to 8. I wouldn't get premie unless you have a premie. I think NB or 0-3 would be good.

I read a lot on here of people buying the entire first years worth of clothes 😳 I don't get how because you can't predict how they're going to grow. I don't want to waste the money, so I bought all he needs in newborn and a couple 0-3month sleepers. Other than that, I'm going to buy as He grows and according to the seasons changing. (We live in maine) best of luck!

I went straight to 0-3 months! My daughter was 7lbs 10oz, my son was 8lb 9oz.  I was an 8lbs baby and my husband was around 13 lbs he said! If I have a small baby I'll be in shock! Lmao

Premise outfits you can buy once you have the baby and actually find out they are premise / really small baby. A lot of babies come out and go straight into 000 (0-3 months) lol
