Douching ?

Why is douching bad for you? When it's just water and vinegar ? 
​Old people tell you to take a bath with vinegar in it to cure a yeast infection .. I understand it kills good bacteria

My doctor said, "think of your vagina as a self cleaning oven..." in other words.. douching us very unnecessary!

Commercial douching is filled with chemicals and that interefers with the ph balance of the vagina..meaning that it could either throw off the yeast and bacteria levels creating infections. Docuhing can be effective if done 1-2x yearly even if it is water and vinegar. Regular douching will continue to throw ur vagina out of whack ph wise and increase your chances of dryness, itchness, bv, yeast infections, etc..just be safe about it. The vagina is designed to cleanse naturally...and vaginal odor can be increased by washing inside the vagina lips and opening as well as douching. do a little research and be safe about it

Personally, i don't like the idea of douching. Reason why is because most of the time it causes a yeast infection. Our vagina is a self - cleansing organ, so there really is no use to douching. If you ever get a yeast infection, i suggest you speak to a doctor. They may prescribe Monistat, which works pretty effectively!  ☺😊

Your vagina has a very specific pH balance and douching messes this up. There's no need to douche whatsoever. If you don't like the smell, freshen up with a shower or wet washcloth.

My aunt told me that it's something to do with the lining inside your vagina, I can't remember every detail she said, but since she told me that, I don't.
