I'm infertile at 22

For the past 8 months my periods only last 2 days. I wonder if that's a bad sign now... when I told my gynecologist she didn't panic too much. Do any of you have short periods? Since my gynecologist didn't really say anything I don't know what are my next steps. I want to have a baby soon
